Lefika la Phodiso Community Art Counselling and Training provides a site for training and supervision by qualified psycho-social and clinical practitioners as well as community counsellors and
is the community partner for the art therapy programme at the University of Johannesburg.
Alexandra Arts Academy is a centre where youth are trained in various areas of their creative expertise.
Trevor Huddleston Centre’s vision is
for Sophiatown to promote healing, opportunities where resources are used to create a society to alleviate poverty.
Make Good design and manufacture jacket-sleeping bags for the homeless. This campaign to support the homeless with a convertible carry-bag-jacket-sleeping bag by #make-good is an initiative by five visual art honours students and Carlo Gibson.
