60 At the Free State Arts Festival, UJ Arts & Culture presented its captivating dance production, With-Out Limits, in collaboration with its resident dance company, Broken Borders, under the directorship of Fana Tshabalala. Furthermore, the UJ Art Gallery in collaboration with the MTN SA Foundation, took their re/ connecting/ing exhibition to be featured at the festival as well. At the end of the festival, UJ Arts & Culture received seven nominations: Best Marketing Campaign, Best Community Engagement, Best Visual Arts Presentation, Best Artistic Design, Best Lead Performer, Best Director, and Best Production. The UJ Art Gallery won the award for Best Visual Art Exhibition, and the WithOut Limits production took home the award for Best Artistic Design. Free State Arts Festival Awards
