47 A celebration of womxn in leadership at the University of Johannesburg To reflect and celebrate 30 years of democracy, FADA Jewellery Design students have created a series of bespoke jewellery pieces that honour the strength, tenacity, and sacrifices required to rise to the top within an increasingly complex academic landscape. Using narrative jewellery as a form of expression, we aim to highlight the qualities of our womxn leaders, inspiring students and emerging leaders to reach greater heights. Our 3rd-year students presented their finished pieces to the esteemed woman in leadership at the University of Johannesburg.
