Prof Meyer’s inaugural address SIEGEN (Germany), IDRAC Business School (France), the University of Azad Jammu & Kashmir (Pakistan), and the Maldives National University, amongst others. National collaborators include colleagues from the University of Johannesburg, the IIE MSA, the University of Stellenbosch, and the North-West University, amongst others. These collaborations support comparative research, joint publications, co-supervision arrangements, and academic mobility programmes. Several visiting scholars and research associates publish under UJ affiliation, directly strengthening the Chair’s output and international profile. Prof Meyer’s inaugural address “Entrepreneurship, innovation, and inclusion: Advancing research for sustainable economic development,” was held in June 2025, and Prof Schachtebeck was promoted to full professor in May 2025.
