35 2025 UNDERGRADUATE PROSPECTUS NATIONAL CERTIFICATE (VOCATIONAL) ADMISSION (NCV) Applicants with a NCV will only be considered for admission into the degree and diploma programmes with the following programme-specific requirements: For admission to a Degree the following minimum criteria apply:  A NCV (level 4) issued by the Council for General and Further Education and Training.  An achievement of at least 70% for 5 of the 7 subjects – fundamental and vocational categories.  An achievement of at least 70% in English as Language of Teaching and Learning/First Additional Language, and one additional language.  An achievement of at least 70% in Mathematics – taken as a fundamental subject. For admission to a Diploma the following minimum criteria apply:  A NCV (level 4) issued by the Council for General and Further Education and Training.  An achievement of at least 60% for 5 of the 7 subjects – fundamental and vocational categories.  An achievement of at least 60% in English as Language of Teaching and Learning/First Additional Language, and one additional language.  An achievement of at least 60% in Mathematics or 70% in Mathematics Literacy – taken as a fundamental subject.
