             Olawumi O. Sadare
Olawumi O. Sadare holds a PhD
in Chemical Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa. She is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Johannesburg, South Africa. She has wide-ranging interests in Chemical Engineering with a strong focus on nanotechnology (nanomaterial synthesis, membrane materials and applications in water treatment). Sadare was a recipient of the prestigious fellowship award by L’Oréal-UNESCO for Women in Science, Sub-Saharan African Fellowship in 2017, attesting to her promising research capacity and leadership in Chemical Engineering.
Godwell Pahla
Godwell Pahla holds a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering Technology and is currently a lecturer (temporary) and a PhD candidate in the Department of Chemical Engineering, University of Johannesburg. His research interests are in biomass renewable energy as well as hydrometallurgy. He was previously awarded the City of Johannesburg Green Economy Scholarship (2015) and the University of Johannesburg Global Excellence Stature (GES) Scholarship in 2016. His work has been published in internationally accredited journals and currently has over 156 citations.
Kapil Moothi
Kapil Moothi is an Associate Professor and the Head of the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Johannesburg. He has a NRF rating and is currently investigating the role of nanotechnology in environmental engineering for the treatment of water and wastewater.
