Maritha Pritchard
Maritha Pritchard is an Associate Professor in the Department of Strategic Communication. Her published research interest is in teaching and learning pedagogies and digital media. She has presented on these topics at several local and international conferences. Before joining academia, Maritha gained industry experience, first in journalism and then in public relations. She has presented several social media workshops for the Public Relations Institute of Southern Africa’s CPD programmes. She is the recipient of the 2021 Vice- Chancellor’s Distinguished Award for Teacher Excellence from the university.
