6 HIGHLIGHTS FROM 2025 SUMMIT Combating Corruption Summit is an annual initiative of the Office of the General Counsel at the University of Johannesburg, bringing together leaders committed to confronting corruption with purpose and urgency. Since its strong foundation in 2024, the Summit has grown into a dynamic platform for dialogue, collaboration, and reform. The 2025 edition deepened sector engagement and strengthened cross-industry partnerships focused on accountability and ethical governance. As we enter 2026 under the theme “Taking Action, Ensuring Accountability,” the Summit advances from conversation to measurable action — reinforcing its role as a catalyst for real change.
