CCRED Hosted a webinar titled ‘Barriers to Entry and Growth of Smaller Market Participants in Food and Agriculture Markets’ in collaboration with the African Climate Fund. Participation in a webinar titled ‘Concentration, mergers, and food prices in African agriculture and food markets’ with the Shamba Centre. Policy briefs CCRED leverages policy briefs as a critical tool for disseminating key issues and policy recommendations in a format that is accessible to policymakers and implementers. These are concisely written pieces that draw on the research to set out the key policy debates and issues, present options and make recommendations targeted at policymakers, implementers, and other interested stakeholders. Policy briefs aim to inform and influence policy thinking and decision-making. CCRED published eight policy briefs in 2023. Op-eds and media CCRED continues to leverage internal and external experts to stimulate strategic debate and conversations through Op-eds and media on industrial policy and competition using insights and findings from various past and present research programs underway. Working paper series The CCRED working paper series is a means to publish work in progress and engage with the broader community of academics and practitioners in the industrial development field. The Working Paper series has an online presence, provides more comprehensive access to research findings, and will contribute to building a progressive network of researchers and practitioners and sustaining a publication pipeline.
