27 UJ Marketing alumni – Sip and paint event On September 30, 2023, the Department of Marketing Management hosted a marketing alumni ‘sip and paint’ event at the UJ Astro Hockey Club. The alumni who were present were warmly welcomed by Nontokozo Mokoena, Marketing Manager at the SCiiS and fellow marketing alumnus. Everyone gathered at a long table that was filled with painting supplies for the much-awaited creative sip and paint session. The day was filled with playfulness, fun, laughter, and excitement as the alumni connected with old classmates and new faces. Lunch was enjoyed, paintings were displayed, and TikTok videos of the day’s proceedings were created by the inspired alumni. Lecturers were also present, and everyone enjoyed the pleasant engagements that took place. The Department wishes to thank all alumni who were present. We couldn’t have asked for a more fantastic turnout at our second annual alumni meetup! It’s incredible to see our alumni community grow stronger year by year. We’re glad for the connections and memories we’ve built together. We look forward to many more marketing alumni gatherings.
