24 Session on collaborative leadership for innovation with Kenya School of Government On 21 April 2023 a session on collaborative leadership for innovation with the Kenya School of Government took place at the School of Tourism and Hospitality at UJ. The event was organised with the National School of Government (NSG) and the Kenya School of Government (KSG), and focused on fostering collaborative leadership for innovation. Key themes addressed included digital transformation, trade, and climate. This gathering brought together leaders from South Africa and Kenya, and provided a platform for the exchange of ideas, a broadening of perspectives, and shaping the future of economic governance. Dr Stella Bvuma and Mr Ronny Mabokela had the privilege of presenting. Dr Stella Bvuma delivered a compelling presentation on policy and practical perspectives related to leading digital transformation for socioeconomic development. Her expertise in this area provided valuable insights, and inspired innovative thinking among the attendees. In his keynote address, Mr Ronny Mabokela discussed the role of ICTs and technopreneurship in driving socio-economic development and growth, and shed light on how these factors can contribute to a brighter future and overall societal well-being. Prof. Marius Wait at UP Prof. Marius Wait, Head of the Marketing Management Department was an external moderator for the University of Pretoria’s (UP) BCom Marketing third-year group presentations on 13 June 2023. These students had to do a 15-minute sales presentation about a specific tile range to Italtile. The top group was offered an internship with Italtile.
