20 2023 African Social Marketing Conference Congratulations to Prof. Mornay Roberts-Lombard for receiving an invitation to serve on the 2023 African Social Marketing Conference (AFSMAC) planning committee. The first AFSMAC will take place in April 2023, hosted by the School of Business Sciences at the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg. Prof. Roberts-Lombard has published widely in the field of marketing. This formal invitation is based on his previous conference organising committee experience, as well as his supervisory and publication exposure in the field. This is certainly an accolade not just for him, but also for the Department of Marketing Management, SCiiS, and UJ. Dr Wikus presents at the Water Sector Forum for the Department of Water and Sanitation On 20 July 2022, Dr Wikus Erasmus from the Applied Information Systems department delivered a presentation at an online event hosted by the Water Research Commission from the National Department of Water and Sanitation. The Water Sector Forum hosted experts in discussing the governance of cybersecurity for critical infrastructure in the water sector. His presentation focused on Water infrastructure cybersecurity, and proposed a sectoral framework for the governance of cybersecurity that was an output from a major research project that culminated in four volumes submitted to the water sector’s body of knowledge. The research was conducted in conjunction with Prof. Annlizé Marnewick from the UJ Postgraduate School of Engineering and Management.
