STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT National Involvement • National engagement includes attendance of/ visits to: • Inter-institutional Academic Planning Forum • CHE workshops on the new Quality Assurance Framework • CHE Joint IQAF Working Group to develop standards for Higher Education • DHET workshops • SAAIR Forum • HELTASA Special Interest Groups (Professional, and Tutoring and Mentoring) • Southern African Learning and Teaching (SAULT) Forum • ESRC/NRF Funded Southern African Rurality in Higher Education (SARiHE) Research Project • Teaching Advancement at University (TAU) Fellowships • Continuous engagement with the DHET, CHE and SAQA in a variety of forums / roles • National Coordinating Committee of the National Framework for the Enhancement of Academics as Teachers • Membership of the editorial board of the SoTL in the South journal. Internal Engagement The staff of the Division engage with a wide variety of the University’s stakeholders in the course of their work. In addition, they support to a range of domains in the University.
