Teaching Portfolio Assessment Committee One of the core functions of CASD is to provide opportunities for staff to develop as teachers, to engage in scholarship of teaching and learning and become reflective practitioners. One source of evidence of this development and growth is the teaching portfolio that staff develop for their promotions. Individual consultations were held with 10 academic staff members who submitted the completed portfolios for promotion purposes. A number of email consultations as well as telephonic conversations were also held. The Teaching Portfolio Assessment Committee reviewed 100 portfolios in 2023.
