SUBMISSIONS TO EXTERNAL BODIES Quality Promotion Internal programme reviews The Quality Review Process approved by STLC in February 2020 continues. This approach follows the workshop model that gives lecturers on the programmes the opportunity to engage with each other, whether face-to-face or virtually on teaching and learning issues at a programme level. In addition, it is a capacity building exercise for the new lecturers. This is rare as in many instances the focus is on individual modules that each lecturer teaches. The CAPQP notes that a complete programme review takes between eight and ten months. CAPQP continue to offer support to departments whose programmes are scheduled for review. In 2022, 14 programmes successfully completed the review process, 5 in CBE, 7 in FADA, and 2 in the Faculty of Humanities. In preparation for the completion of these reviews, 43 workshops were conducted, and 51 consultations were held to assist the teaching teams primarily with the development of the Self- evaluation report and any other support they might need. Included in these consultations, is the support given to programmes that are accredited by professional bodies like ECSA.
