As part of its work with the CAA, DIPEM, Department of Student Finance (who liaise with NSFAS), CAPQP has conduct several qualification verification exercises, across both the PQM and the SAQA website. This verification process has identified errors and omissions in the PQM and on the SAQA website. In order to ensure that these align directly to UJ’s ITS, these errors and omissions have been provided to SAQA via the CHE, as required, and to the DHET and are in the process of being corrected by these bodies. CAPQP is an essential division at UJ and is a constant support for the Faculty of Humanities. What makes it a successful division is the team’s knowledge and patience about HE processes, training, and in general adding to the collegial spirit of UJ I commend the staff at CAPQP Noxo;lo, Isaac, Odwa, and Portia, who are prompt, friendly and extremely helpful. They are easily accessible and never simply ignore a request or query. They provide guidance and always with a smile. They are meticulous and very accommodating. The staff at CAPQP provide group, individual, faculty and departmental training. They provided APTS training that was well received.
