In 2022, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter were utilized as platforms to engage and establish a community of practice amongst UJ tutors. These platforms were used to post training dates, links to important UJ policies, and any other important reminders or information. Moreover, tutors have also used these platforms to ask questions about their practice. Through these platforms we have demonstrated that we promote 4IR and embrace platforms which are current and relevant to learning and teaching. @ujtutorscommunity Ujtutorscommunity2021 @UjTutors A top tutor award was issued to 47 tutors across faculties in recognition of the role they played in promoting student success. 38 synchronous training sessions were offered and 1 570 tutors were trained I feel confident to tutor.
